Joe Buggie was very effective in selling our house in October 2017. Margaret and I first met Laurie and Joe when we were transferring from Toronto to Calgary in 2005 with Imperial Oil. We had some specific location requirements due to our youngest son entering high school and they tirelessly devoted a week to search a number of neighborhoods including one outside the city limits. Once we chose a couple of possibilities, they discussed a negotiating strategy with us and completed the negotiations for our preferred house at a very attractive price. During the process, their experience in the market allowed them to point out benefits and potential issues with properties we were considering — items that we would not have necessarily seen.

It is time for us to change location and downsize. We contacted Laurie and Joe to sell our house and look for another closer to the city. They visited our home and provided a detailed list of minor improvements to make in more appealing in a challenging market. They hired a skilled photographer to take professional pictures and use the latest social media to advertise the house in the broadest market possible. They have also spent numerous hours looking for houses in a new neighborhood. Again they have demonstrated a deep understanding of many residential areas and have counselled us on waiting for the right house for our needs. We are being very particular and they are showing great patience in showing us multiple houses.

Laurie and Joe give as much attention and effort to a smaller house deal as a multi-million dollar transaction. This speaks to their dedication to the client and a desire to complete the best deal possible. This is why when it came time to consider another move, there was no question in our minds as to who we would ask to represent us.

We would totally recommend them to anyone considering a real estate transaction in the Calgary area.
